Our Lampfree family is growing! The Bett Show 2019 at London’s Excel marked the launch of our brand new Superior Series XJ-S400 and we can’t wait to share it with you.

We set out to create an educational solution which was aligned with the priorities of the teachers of today. The attention span of the average child is shorter than it was a decade ago and so great lessons are ones which engage a classroom of children as well as giving all pupils an opportunity to share their work. This requires dedicated solutions that can effectively support these aims.

1-Click Connection

 With that in mind, the Superior Series features a brilliant feature that we call 1-click connection. It lets a classroom of students connect their devices to the projector wirelessly and with just one click. With up to 40 devices connected, a teacher can moderate which device is projected via a simple smartphone app. This enables a teacher to roam around the room, sharing students’ work with the rest of the class instantly and wirelessly. For comparative displays, up to four can be displayed at once using the split screen function.

Auto Projection OFF

Like all our projectors, the Superior Series is lampfree which means no mercury and no dimming over time. The brightness you get at the start is the same throughout the 20,000 hour lifetime of the unit and with no expensive lamps to replace, the total cost of ownership is market-leading. With stringent budgets in schools we know how important it is to keep maintenance costs low, which is why we developed the Auto Projection OFF function, saving you power. The projector switches on and off according to whether an input signal is detected, and with a quick switch-on time, the lesson can get started without delay.

Our Superior Series consists of four brand new models, all 4,000 lumens and in WXGA or WUXGA resolution. The series includes an Ultra-Short Throw and a Large Venue model meaning you can benefit from the new features in rooms of any size.
